Good morning, how was the weekend? I hope you're in high spirits, excited of the week ahead. Day 16 of the challenge we start with a somewhat somber title.
Today we are sharing something on grief, loss or healing.

Grief and loss are intertwined and have a way of leaving voids in our lives that we never really get over but learn to live with. Loss, especially of loved ones, is indescribable. There aren't any scripted steps to follow, I would like to believe it's unique for each person. A difficult place to start from but one that will help is coming to terms with the void they leave behind. It's essential to allow the feelings, whatever form and shape they come in to wash over you, allow yourself to grieve, allow the tears to flow, grieve for a part of your soul you have lost. Finding comfort in the great memories and celebrating their lives will help in navigating the difficult traits. The heartache is indelible and waves of sorrow will wash over you long as you live and that's alright. Whatever deity you subscribe to, this is a great time to lean on your faith. It usually provides refuge and comfort. There is loss you will never completely heal from, but just learn to look and admire your wounds and scars. Learn to hide a bit better. Dealing with grief, loss and healing is a journey not a destination, take your time, be kind to yourself.
To all those who have lost loved ones and are dealing with grief, loss and healing, love and light to you.
It's a process... A long process
Healing isn't a destination.. it's a journey.
