Zimbabwe is a magnificent country that will marvel you with her natural beauty. At the core of her beauty she's adorned with a beautiful & altruistic people. Zimbabweans are welcoming, cheerful lot which makes having your holiday in Zim ideal.
Eastern highlands, a range of three main mountain groups. Nyanga (to the north) which contains Zimbabwe's highest mountain Mount Nyangani, Africa's second-longest waterfall Mutarazi Falls & the Honde Valley which leads into Mozambique, Bvumba Mountains (centrally situated near the city of Mutare) & Chimanimani (to the south). The eastern highlands; Bvumba is known for its beautiful relaxing nature garden of Eden feel that will leave you in awe & rejuvenated. The contemporary garden of Eden. To the western corner of the country we have the stupendous Victoria falls were the Zambezi river plummets over a cliff between the Zambia-Zimbanwean border before flowing through different gorges. Mosi-oa-Tunya "the smoke that thunders," the mist generated by the falls can be seen & felt from several kilometers away creating a cooling blanket of sorts. The Mosi-oa-Tunya is surrounded by national parks that offer panoramic scenic nature views & are home to diverse fauna. Along the Zambezi river is the Lake Kariba famous for her magnificent sunset cruises, orange remnants of the African sun swayed on ripples as the sun gently fades Into a watery horizon. Biblical indeed. Lake Kariba one of the largest men made lakes is a tremendous wildlife experience. The fish eagle, cormorant & other water birds frequently visit the shorelines. Elephant, crocodile & hippo are also commonly seen.

The Chinhoyi Caves are a group of limestone and dolomite caves in north central Zimbabwe. Mashonaland West Province, in north central Zimbabwe. The main cave contains a pool of cobalt blue water, which is popularly called Sleeping Pool or Chirorodziva ("Pool of the Fallen"). Diving is possible in the caves all year round, with temperatures never beyond the 22 to 24 °C (72 to 75 °F) range with zero thermocline. Visibility is high, and 50 metres (160 ft) and above is not unusual.
There are sites that may not come up when you do your Google search but you can be sure their worth the visit. Domboshava is a village in the province of Mashonaland East, Zimbabwe. It is located in an area of granite hills about 27 km north of Harare. The village is named after a large granite hill near the village derived from dombo meaning "rock" and shava (pronounced shawa) meaning "light brown". Apart from being scenic with a panoramic view the granite hill has cave paintings which date back almost 6000 years. The majority of these paintings can be found in a cave which is some walk from the rock formations at the top of the hill. There is also a hole in the cave that leads to the top hill.
You definitely need to add Zimbabwe on your holiday calendar, get you some sun & wonderful memories.
