Human rights in Africa: My advocacy that's not advocacy.

Initially I was going for political correctness, without candor we will not progress. I think I would be correct In saying I am nonchalant about advocacy especially in regard to human rights violations. It's the modus operandi of African leaders to thwart the proletariat whenever they dare raise their heads in protest & ask for the obvious. I feel advocacy is apt in certain areas maybe, not were human life is concerned & innocence is being butchered. For such an esoteric species we come across as dull & I'm rather irate.
In Africa, infraction of right to life, equality, women's & children's rights, freedom & security, freedom of association & expression & political rights is a norm accompanied by exigious social media outrage. All the while the proletariat live in dire circumstances, abject poverty & deplorable livelihoods with little to no hope of ever changing. Chad, Gabon, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Cameroon & as we speak Sudan is burning, women & children raped & maimed, live ammunition fired at protesters as the greed cling on to power. The scenarios are the same, no real change ever comes from it, the dictators retain power at the mercy of the proletariat.
Twitter, Instagram, Facebook all the social media platforms are adorning blue in solidarity with Sudan. It's not enough for us to have blue AVI's & PP's when innocence is being martyred at the altar of greed. Yes advocacy isn't enough, what are the laws for, what are all these SADC, AU conclaves at the expense of proletariat for? I feel it's some what subtle especially when it comes to human rights violations. These fiends commit horrendous violations & only stop when they want to, when they have their grip firm on the reigns of power not because of a tweet. So yes advocacy in this case isn't enough, in a months time maybe calm will return to the streets of Sudan but you can be certain that this exigency will occur again in another country on this continent. We need a tool that cripples the cycle once & for all. Stop killing your citizens African leaders its inhuman, deplorable & bloody barbaric, it's the 21st century for crying out loud. Advocacy is for the environment & save the rhinoceros campaign not for human life. There needs to be more austere measures for holding leaders to account, they cannot always kill their way to their hearts desires. Press conferences & press statements are an insult to those whose blood is being spilled in the streets of Sudan. I'm infuriated by the political system the world over, the arbitrary lines are drawn, the proletariat & the blue bloods on opposite sides. The system will always protect & serve the blue bloods at the expense of the masses, feigned shock & press statements without concrete action. So no, no advocacy for human rights violations for me, call me when there is another actionable promulgation. We can do better than this, we have to do better than this. Okay I'm just really upset & maybe I'm spewing my vitriol at innocent "advocacy" that's seemingly some what subtle. Human rights violations nooo, respect human life, serve your tenure & keep it moving 🤬. Steve Biko, Robert Sobukwe, Joshua Nkomo among many fought the colonial wars across Africa. I bet they lie in chagrin as they see us fight the same wars only now the oppressor is our mothers son. I dont want blue AVI's & PP's, I want the citizens of Sudan to be able to protest peacefully, I want Africans to be able to express themselves, for African leaders to revere life. I want Africans to die of old age. Photocredits: Google, bussinessinsider.com
