Our thumb tips are neurons of sorts, feeding electrical impulse into a myriad synapses that keep the technology android abuzz. We like neurons cant stop lest there be catastrophic consequences. Obliviously addicted to our screens we are always tapping away. These are the applications that most keep my thumb tips busy, in no particular order that is.
Evernote. As a writer I always need a reliable electronic notebook at hand to jot down an idea & spread my thoughts & pick through them. With the advancement of technology there are a myriad to choose from. Evernote & I have been together for quite a long time now. I find it very useful & effective. I can easily access all my "writes", edit & share without trouble. Easy interaction between the desktop & any other devices I have, changes are regularly synced. Evernote it will be. Google Maps. Thank God for the use of satellites & easy availability geospatial data. Getting lost is real in these streets & not funny too especial if you have important engagements. I have chartered into the unknown jittery as ever & all the while Google Maps has delivered me safe & sound & for that I'm grateful. I have to say the experiences have been a wonderful learning curve lol. Bible App. Sustenance for the soul. A love letter from the creator of the universe himself. In the contemporary world our mobile phones are such lovely & useful devices they avail it to you with such ease. My favorite bible app is the Olive Tree Bible app. I'm fussy about fonts & they deliver in this aspect, you can highlight, bookmark & take notes with such ease just like you would do with your good old paper bible. Dictionary. This is by far the most used app on my phone, gosh. I'm paranoid about wrong spellings lol. Spelling hasn't been my forte like that so yeah. So I am always double if not triple checking the spellings & meanings & if I have aptly used them in my pieces. I think I'm low key a perfectionist & blame it on my "not a spelling whiz" vibe. I also love my dictionary app because I learn new words everyday & make it easy to express myself. I use the Livio Offline version, hasn't let me down. Nikon WirelessMobileUtility. This app is marvelous. Allows you to link your DSLR to your mobile phone using wifi. Just like that you can transfare your images from your camera to your phone, making it easy for dissemination &/or editing.
